Transvox - Labour Party Musings
Gillian and Jenny are Transgender friends talking about the process of transition and living their best lives. Gillian is new into the transition process and Jenny has been transitioned for many years and acts as a type of mentor, sharing experiences and thoughts about the trans community and useful specific subjects.
Their conversations are wide ranging and they hope to help others on the same path.
This week:
This week, Gillian and Jenny discuss the recent decision by the Labour Party to change their stance on self-ID and their overall approach to the Gender Recognition Act and trans+ people in general.
They discuss the potential implications of the change of policy as well as what options that leaves for gender care in the UK.
They do manage to finish on a somewhat positive note and aim to reassure everyone that transition is ultimately worth it - whatever the challenges in our path.
